Dear friends,
Today I learned of a price reduction for our
February 22, 2004 Panama Canal sailing on the ms
Rotterdam. Since it was time for the next "Cruise
Update", I'm passing along this information today!
Last month's announcement listed our group discount
of 40% off the published tariff fares. At this time,
a 55% discount is available for reservations made now.
The 7th Annual Libertarian Cruise will begin on
February 22, 2004. Because of our excellent service
from Holland America Line for many years, I have
chosen them again for 2004. We will board the ms
Rotterdam Sunday, February 22 at Fort Lauderdale and
disembark there on Wednesday, March 3.
Most of our group will fly to Fort Lauderdale a
day early and spend the night prior to embarkation at
the Pier 66 Hyatt Hotel. We'll have a pre cruise
gathering in the revolving lounge atop this landmark.
There are also pre and post Cruise packages offered
by Holland America for those interested in spending
a few extra days in Fort Lauderdale.
This year, Holland America will give our group a
55% discount from the published tariff. "Cruise only"
fares (including port charges and taxes) for this 10
day Cruise NOW begin at $1,291 per person, double occupancy.

We will have several private parties again next year
(including our traditional "Welcome Aboard" party and our
"Boo Hoo" last night party). There will be a public area
designated for serving as a Libertarian discussion "hangout"
to assist those who, throughout the trip, desire more
camaraderie than our dinner table conversations provide.
