Dear friends,

For our 2005 Libertarian Cruise, 16 cruisers
gathered in Copenhagen and embarked the MS Westerdam
on June 20.  FREEDOM CRUISES hosted our traditional
"Welcome Aboard" Party that evening and I presented
this year's "cruisewear", a red fleece vest.  Some
photos of our party can be viewed at:

Our ports of call presented many wonderful days
of discovery.  I was amazed as we sailed through the
24,000 islands that comprise the Stockholm Archipelago:

A highlight for all in our group was the day
spent in Tallinn, Estonia.  Our exploration of this
oldest of Europe's medieval "old towns" was greatly
enhanced by the three local Estonians who joined our
group for the day.  Libertarian Paul Vahur and his
friends, Urmas Jarve and Kalev Kallemets were excellent
hosts for touring their city and Paul's wife and
daughter joined us for our "feast" at Olde Hansa to
cap our day.  See:

My personal highlight was visiting Paul's office
and seeing on his bookshelf the works of many of my favorite
authors, including Ayn Rand, Bastiat, Hayek, and Ruwart.
Paul proudly shared that he had both editions of "Healing
Our World" exclaiming, "Mary Ruwart signed this one!"

We enjoyed a "Boo Hoo" party on the final evening
of our cruise and uneventfully disembarked at Copenhagen
on June 30.  This year's cruise matched the enjoyment of
our previous group sailings.  We met wonderful new friends
and had many return cruisers joining us.  I hope YOU can
be part of such an experience with us next year!
